The other explination I got for this email virus was that it was a problem with the MIME implementation of some mailer. It somehow allowed the mail program to recieve and automatically save a file--maybe even uudecode and execute it. The big problem was that it didn't do any checking on the file to be created and could be tricked into overwriting autoexec.bat or any other file. -- David C.
